Open Systems Inc. Named Supplier of the Year By the Georgia
Minority Supplier Development Council

Open Systems Inc. announced that it has been awarded the Supplier
of the Year - Class II by Georgia Minority Supplier Development
Council (GMSDC) during the "Spirit of Alliance" Awards Ceremony
on May 26, 2004 at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center. This award recognizes
GMSDC certified minority suppliers with annual sales between one
and ten million dollars, who have demonstrated outstanding quality
and service; and who have shown strong potential for expansion
and development.
GMSDC's annual awards ceremony was a part of GMSDC's three-day
Business Opportunity Expo (BOE). Major corporate sponsors of the
three-day celebration included: BellSouth Corporation, Cingular,
Georgia Power, A Southern Company, UPS, The Coca-Cola Company,
Delta Air Lines, Inc., Lockheed Martin ASC, Georgia-Pacific Corporation,
Coca-Cola Enterprises, Inc., The Atlanta Tribune, The Home Depot,
and Cox Communications/Cox Enterprises, Inc.

The Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council (GMSDC) is a
non-profit organization that links corporate America and minority-owned
enterprises in long-term business partnerships. GMSDC trains,
educates, and sensitizes corporations about the economic benefits
of using certified minority businesses, and works to better equip
certified minority businesses to compete for contracts. The GMSDC
is a regional affiliate of the National Minority Supplier Development
Council.
